Data Analyst: Conduct consumer research—including online and offline surveys, focus groups, and more—focused on the Chinese market in the U.S. while also helping clients expand their marketing reach to U.S. consumers. Collect market information through a variety of sources. Conduct competition research and data analytics such as competitive analysis. Analyze complex data sets and present useful information to our clients. Utilize predictive statistical models. Extrapolate market trends and patterns from data analysis and suggest opportunities. Consult with department heads and present marketing plans to the organization. Collaborate with other marketing departments and product development. Deliver regular reports on findings and suggested actions and present this to our clients. Work on culturally nuanced marketing tactics, such as WeChat campaigns, Chinese-language social media channels, and bilingual (Chinese-English) branding materials. Telecommuting permitted. 10% domestic travel required to obtain data from the client. Must be able to communicate in Chinese. Requires Bachelors in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related.
